Full job description Maintenance Engineer – Electrical & Mechanical
Witham | £35,000 PA | Mon-Fri 7am-16:30 | Permanent

Our client is a leading UK manufacturer, delivering high-quality products and innovative solutions to major projects across the UK and Europe.
Due to continued growth and investment, they are seeking an experienced Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer to join their team at their modern manufacturing facility in Witham, Essex.


Key Responsibilities:
* Provide maintenance support to production teams
* Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM)
* Diagnose and repair electrical, mechanical, and instrumentation faults
* Fault find on industrial machinery and equipment
* Assist with dismantling and reassembly of production equipment
* Carry out improvement works and scheduled maintenance activities
* Ensure machinery operates at maximum efficiency
* Call outs – Rotated within the team
* Some weekend working is required when there is machine downtime


Candidate Requirements:
* Experienced Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer (Electrical & Mechanical)
* Previous experience working within a manufacturing/production environment
* Strong electrical fault-finding skills
* Mechanical maintenance experience
* Knowledge of PLCs would be an advantage
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Flexible approach to support operational requirements


Qualifications:
Ideally you will hold one or more of the following:
* Level 3 Diploma / NVQ Level 3 / HNC in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering
* 18th Edition qualification
* City & Guilds 2382
* Full clean driving licence
