Description
*Manage and ensure compliance with indirect tax regulations across all relevant jurisdictions.
*Provide strategic advice on indirect tax matters to support organisational objectives.
*Lead the preparation and submission of VAT returns and other tax filings.
*Act as the main point of contact for tax authorities and external advisors.
*Monitor changes in tax legislation and assess their impact on the organisation.
*Develop and deliver training for internal teams on tax-related topics.
*Assist in tax planning and risk management initiatives.
*Collaborate with finance and legal teams to ensure alignment on tax strategies.
Profile
A successful Senior Indirect Tax Manager should have:
*Strong expertise in indirect tax, particularly VAT.
*Experience working within complex organisational structures.
*Proven ability to interpret and apply tax legislation.
*Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
*A professional tax qualification or equivalent experience.
*Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
*Will be CTA,ACA,ACCA Qualified.
*Be from a Top 10 practice.
Job Offer
*Salary between £90,000 and £100,000, dependent on the level of experience.
*Permanent position based around Abingdon.
