Locations: Ashford, Canterbury or Margate (Static Sites)
Venn Group is working in partnership with a large healthcare organisation in Kent to recruit experienced Electrical Engineers to join their Estates and Facilities team.
This is an excellent opportunity to play a key role in maintaining critical infrastructure across a busy operational environment. The successful candidates will be responsible for ensuring electrical systems remain safe, compliant and fully operational, supporting the delivery of essential services across the site.
Key Responsibilities
*Undertake planned preventative maintenance and reactive repairs across a wide range of electrical systems and plant
*Diagnose and resolve faults on LV distribution systems, emergency lighting, BMS controls and associated electrical infrastructure
*Support statutory compliance programmes and ensure all maintenance activities meet relevant regulations and safety standards
*Assist with electrical installations, upgrades and minor refurbishment projects
*Work closely with Estates Managers and engineering colleagues to deliver a high-quality maintenance service
*Ensure all works are completed in accordance with health and safety legislation, policies and best practice
*Maintain accurate maintenance records and complete documentation in line with departmental procedures
About You
*City & Guilds in Electrical Installation, BTEC in an Electrical discipline, or equivalent qualification
*18th Edition Wiring Regulations qualification
*City & Guilds 2391 Testing & Inspection qualification
*Experience working within a large, complex maintenance environment such as healthcare, education, commercial facilities, manufacturing or public sector estates
*Strong fault-finding, diagnostic and problem-solving skills
*Good understanding of electrical compliance requirements and industry best practice
