Salary: £42,000 - £46,500
Overview:
First Military Recruitment are currently seeking a Class 2 Driver on behalf of one of our clients.
This role has been created to support a significant new customer contract, and the successful candidate will be dedicated exclusively to servicing this account, playing a key role in ensuring exceptional service delivery and customer satisfaction.
Our client encourages applications from ex-military personnel however all candidates will be given due consideration.
Duties and Responsibilities:
*Safey and efficiently complete scheduled deliveries and collections in line with customer requirements.
*Act as the dedicated driver supporting a key new contract, maintaining high standards of service and professionalism.
*Conduct daily vehicle inspections and ensure the vehicle remains clean, safe and roadworthy.
*Load, secure and unload goods in accordance with company procedures.
*Complete all delivery paperwork accurately and report any issues promptly.
*Adhere to all relevant road traffic legislation, driver hours regulations and company policies.
*Build and maintain positive working relationships with customers and colleagues
Skills and Qualifications:
*Valid Category C (Class 2) driving licence.
*Valid driver CPC qualification card.
*Digital tachograph card.
*Strong understanding of driver compliance and road safety requirements.
*Professional attitude with excellent customer service skills.
*Previous multi drop or contact distribution experience would be advantageous.
