This is an exciting opportunity with a local authority, to influence organisation-wide change, helping create resident-centred, preventative and place-based services that work seamlessly across organisational and system boundaries.
Key Responsibilities:
*Develop and deliver the organisational development strategy to support the Council’s transformation programme
*Design leadership development that builds collaborative, digital and future-focused leadership
*Lead organisational change aligned to our transformation priorities: Reaction to Prevention, Complexity to Simplicity and Surviving to Thriving
*Drive cultural change towards integrated, preventative and partnership-based ways of working
*Build organisational capability in place-based working, digital skills and adaptive leadership
*Embed new ways of working, clear accountability and lasting behavioural change
*Lead change management and employee engagement initiatives that are inclusive and effective
*Use organisational diagnostics and evaluation to measure impact and realise benefits
*Provide expert organisational development advice to senior leaders and programme boards
Key Requirements:
*A degree (or equivalent experience) in Organisational Development, Human Resources, Psychology or a related discipline
*Professional accreditation in organisational development, coaching or change management (or equivalent experience)
*Proven experience working within a Local Authority is desirable
*Significant experience developing and delivering organisational development strategies within complex, multi-stakeholder environments
*Experience using organisational diagnostics, evaluation, benefits realisation and impact measurement to demonstrate success
