Full job descriptionReed Recruitment are proud to be recruiting on behalf of a leading membership and community-focused organisation operating across Wales.
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Welsh-speaking administrator to join a small, supportive team that works closely with public sector partners, community organisations and key stakeholders across Wales. The organisation plays an important role in supporting professional networks, delivering events, sharing best practice and influencing policy within the community and public services sector.
The successful candidate will provide essential administrative, communications and event support, helping to ensure the smooth operation of a busy and highly respected Wales-wide network.
The Role
This is a varied and rewarding position that would suit a highly organised individual who enjoys managing multiple priorities, coordinating events and building positive relationships with stakeholders.
Key responsibilities will include:
*Coordinating diaries, meetings and stakeholder engagement activities
*Organising venues, obtaining quotations and supporting event logistics
*Providing administrative support for conferences, workshops and awards events
*Taking accurate minutes during meetings, including where sensitive discussions take place
*Producing agendas, action logs and meeting documentation
*Managing communications and responding to stakeholder enquiries
*Supporting professional networks and member engagement activities across Wales
*Maintaining records, databases and internal systems
*Assisting with bilingual communications and Welsh language enquiries
*Supporting awareness campaigns and special projects
*Attending occasional events and meetings across Wales
Essential Requirements
*Fluent Welsh speaker (written and verbal)
*Strong administrative background with the ability to work independently
*Excellent minute-taking experience
*Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
*Highly organised with excellent attention to detail
*Experience coordinating meetings, events or stakeholder activities
*Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
*Confident engaging with a range of internal and external stakeholders
*Self-motivated and proactive approach to work
*Comfortable working with sensitive and confidential information
*Strong IT skills and the ability to quickly learn new systems
Desirable Experience
*Event, conference or membership network administration
*CRM or client management systems
*Public sector, not-for-profit or membership organisations
*Workshop or event facilitation support
*Experience working within community-focused environments
Working Arrangements
*Predominantly remote working
*Candidates can be based anywhere in Wales
*Flexible working arrangements available
*Optional office access in Cardiff
*Team collaboration meetings typically take place weekly
*Occasional travel across Wales for meetings, conferences and events
