Full job descriptionAn ambitious and rapidly growing food manufacturing business is seeking a Purchasing & Supply Chain Manager to take ownership of its end-to-end supply chain function. Working closely with the founders and operations team, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring materials, inventory and production planning processes support the next phase of growth.

Description
*Managing purchasing and supplier relationships across both UK and international supply chains.
*Placing and tracking purchase orders, managing lead times and ensuring continuity of supply.
*Working closely with international suppliers, logistics providers and customs partners to coordinate imports and deliveries.
*Taking ownership of stock accuracy, inventory management and warehouse replenishment processes.
*Supporting production planning through effective demand forecasting and inventory analysis.
*Identifying and implementing cost-saving and continuous improvement initiatives across purchasing and operations.
*Managing and optimising ERP and inventory management systems, with a focus on driving efficiencies through automation and process improvement.
*Developing KPI reports, dashboards and performance metrics to provide meaningful business insights.
*Presenting supply chain analysis and recommendations to senior leadership
Profile
The ideal candidate will be a hands-on supply chain professional who enjoys operating within a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.
You will demonstrate:
*Proven experience within food manufacturing, FMCG or food operations.
*Strong purchasing, inventory management and production planning expertise.
*Fluency in both Spanish and English, with the ability to communicate directly with international suppliers.
*Advanced Excel capabilities, including building models, reports and dashboards from scratch.
*Experience using ERP, WMS or inventory management systems, ideally Cin7 Core or similar platforms.
*Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate data into actionable insights.
*Knowledge of warehouse operations, stock control and supply chain best practice.
*A proactive, solutions-focused mindset with the confidence to take ownership and drive improvements


Job Offer
*Salary of £45,000 - £55,000 depending on experience.
*10% discretionary bonus linked to performance.
