Are you an organised and proactive Accounts & Administrative Assistant looking for a varied role within a friendly and growing business?

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment, takes pride in accuracy, and wants to play a key role in keeping the business running smoothly.
The Role
Working closely with the Finance Manager, you’ll be responsible for a broad range of duties including:
Finance Responsibilities

*Reconciling supplier accounts.
*Completing daily bank reconciliations.
*Assisting with cashflow forecasting.
*Supporting the preparation of monthly management accounts.
*Assisting with VAT returns.
*Supporting payroll.
*Carrying out general bookkeeping tasks.
HR Administration

*Preparing employment contracts and other HR documentation.
*Keeping company policies and the employee handbook up to date.
General Administration

*Maintaining office records.
*Providing general administrative support across the business.
About You
We’re looking for someone who is organised, reliable and enjoys working with both numbers and people.
You’ll ideally have:
*At least one year’s experience in an accounts or bookkeeping role.
*Experience using Xero and/or QuickBooks.
*Excellent attention to detail and strong organisational skills.
*Good communication skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
*Confidence using Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
*A positive, flexible and proactive approach.
*Availability to work on Fridays is essential. For part-time applicants, the remaining working days can be agreed with the successful candidate.
A degree is not required—practical experience and the right attitude are far more important.
What We Offer
*Hybrid working.
*Part-time or full-time opportunities.
*Salary of £26,000–£30,000 per annum (pro rata if part-time), depending on experience.
*A varied role with opportunities to develop your skills.
*A supportive and collaborative working environment.
*The opportunity to become a valued member of a growing business.
If you’re looking for a varied role where no two days are the same and you can make a real impact, we’d love to hear from you.
