Watford – Office Based £45,000 - £50,000 + Benefits
JSS are exclusively partnering with a leading retail business in Watford to recruit an Accounts Payable & Receivables Manager. This is a fantastic opportunity to lead both the AP and AR functions, managing a finance team while ensuring strong cash flow, accurate financial processing, and excellent customer and supplier relationships.
Key Responsibilities
*Lead and develop the Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable teams.
*Oversee supplier payments, invoice processing, reconciliations, and payment runs.
*Manage customer collections, cash allocation, aged debt, and account reconciliations.
*Monitor working capital, cash flow, and AR/AP performance.
*Support month-end activities, balance sheet reconciliations, and audit requirements.
*Drive process improvements, automation, and strong financial controls.
*Partner with internal stakeholders to resolve queries and improve processes.
About You
*5+ years’ accounting experience with exposure to both AP and AR.
*Previous experience managing finance teams.
*Strong accounting knowledge and financial controls experience.
*Experience with ERP systems such as Sage, SAP, Dynamics, or NetSuite.
*Retail or wholesale sector experience is advantageous.
