Full job descriptionWe are seeking a confident and experienced Family Solicitor to manage a varied private family law caseload independently. The successful candidate will work as part of the wider family team.
As a Family Solicitor, you will be responsible for:
*Managing divorce, separation, financial remedy and private children matters
*Advising on cohabitation disputes, pre-nuptial and post-nuptial agreements, separation agreements and protective injunctions
*Handling TOLATA matters where appropriate, with TOLATA experience being ideal
*Supervising and developing junior staff
*Supporting the wider family team
*Attending networking events and assisting with business development
*Contributing to the continued growth of the Doncaster office and the wider firm
The ideal candidate:
*Ideally 8+ years’ PQE in family law, although strong candidates with relevant experience will be considered
*Experience in both children and financial remedy matters
*TOLATA experience is ideal
*Ability to manage a busy caseload with minimal supervision
*Excellent client care, drafting and communication skills
*Strong commercial awareness and a good billing record
*Experience or willingness to supervise and develop junior colleagues
*Willingness to network and assist with business development
*Ambition to grow within the firm
*Confidence using case management systems and Microsoft Office
*A professional, organised and team-focused approach.
