We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Computer Science Teacher to join a welcoming secondary school in Herne Bay from September 2026. This is an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic teacher to deliver engaging Computer Science lessons across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4.
The position offers flexibility and can be offered as a long-term supply role, with the potential to become permanent for the right candidate.
The Role
*Deliver high-quality Computer Science lessons to KS3 and KS4 students.
*Plan and assess lessons in line with the national curriculum.
*Create an engaging and inclusive learning environment.
*Support students in developing their programming, computational thinking, and digital literacy skills.
*Monitor student progress and provide constructive feedback.
*Work collaboratively with colleagues to support departmental success.
The Ideal Candidate
*Holds QTS, QTLS, or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
*Has experience teaching Computer Science at KS3 and KS4.
*Possesses strong classroom management skills.
*Demonstrates a passion for technology and education.
*Is committed to raising achievement and inspiring learners.
*ECTs and experienced teachers are both encouraged to apply.
