People Operations Lead
*Contract Type: Maternity Cover

Join our team as a People Operations Lead on a maternity cover contract. This pivotal role offers the opportunity to oversee the People function, ensuring a seamless employee experience and providing expert HR support across the business. You will collaborate closely with managers and senior stakeholders, managing day-to-day people operations, driving key initiatives, and ensuring compliance with employment legislation.
Day-to-day of the role:
*Manage all aspects of the employee lifecycle, including onboarding, development, and offboarding.
*Provide advice and guidance to managers on employee relations matters.
*Ensure HR policies and procedures are up to date and compliant with UK employment law.
*Lead recruitment activities and support hiring managers throughout the recruitment process.
*Oversee HR administration, employee records, and HR systems.
*Manage payroll inputs and benefits administration.
*Produce HR metrics and reports to support business decision-making.
*Drive employee engagement and wellbeing initiatives.
*Support performance management and talent development processes.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
*Previous experience in a People Operations Lead, HR Manager, or Senior HR Generalist role.
*Strong understanding of UK employment legislation.
*Experience managing employee relations cases.
*Excellent organisational and stakeholder management skills.
*Comfortable working autonomously and managing multiple priorities.
*CIPD Level 5 or above is desirable.
