Full job descriptionPertemps is currently recruiting Warehouse Operative to work at one of Royal Mail’s busy mail processing centres. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a well-established organisation in a fast-paced warehouse environment, with flexible shifts and competitive pay.
Your Role
*Pick, pack, weigh, and label products based on daily orders.
*Ensure all packages are properly packaged and sealed.
*Meet the specifics of customer orders in a timely manner.
*Log relevant shipping, order, and label paperwork.
*Selects and package products for shipment based on customer orders.
*Uses technology, including smartphones and handheld devices, to sort, scan, and prepare orders.
*Handles, installs, positions, and moves materials to optimize inventory and meet customer orders.
*Compares invoices to items received to ensure that incoming shipments are correct. Keeps products separated, organized, and in good rotation.
*Follows safety protocols and reports problems to mitigate safety issues.
Requirements
*Good level of physical fitness – this is a hands-on, active role.
*Attention to detail and strong work ethic.
*Flexibility to work weekends and additional shifts.
*Must pass a criminal background check (DBS) before start.

*Working Hours: Monday to Friday 08:00-16:00.
*Pay Rate: £13.02
*Duration of Assignment: until 02/10/2026.
*Start Date: ASAP
