Full job descriptionAxon Moore are partnering with a well-established and growing business to recruit a commercially focused Finance Manager. This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified finance professional looking to take on a broad business partnering role with significant exposure to senior operational stakeholders.
Reporting to the Head of Finance, you will play a key role in supporting business performance across multiple operational sites. Working closely with management teams, you’ll provide meaningful financial insight, challenge decision making where appropriate and help drive commercial performance through accurate reporting, analysis and forecasting.

Key Responsibilities
*Produce accurate and timely monthly management accounts and management information.
*Deliver insightful financial analysis, highlighting key trends, risks and opportunities.
*Business partner with operational managers to support commercial decision making and improve financial performance.
*Prepare annual budgets, forecasts and regular reforecasts.
*Monitor performance against budget, investigating variances and recommending corrective actions.
*Develop and maintain KPI reporting to support operational and financial objectives.
*Identify opportunities to improve profitability, efficiencies and financial performance.
*Support capital investment appraisals and business case preparation.
*Maintain strong financial controls, processes and governance across the business.
*Assist with year-end reporting and audit requirements.
*Build strong working relationships with stakeholders across finance and operations.
*Drive continuous improvements to financial reporting and processes.

About You
The successful candidate will ideally be ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualified and will be able to demonstrate:
*Previous experience within a Finance Manager, Management Accountant or Finance Business Partner position.
*Strong experience producing management accounts, budgeting and forecasting.
*Excellent analytical skills with the ability to turn financial data into meaningful commercial insight.
*Proven experience influencing and building relationships with operational stakeholders.
*Strong systems knowledge with the ability to maximise reporting capabilities.
*Excellent communication and presentation skills.
*A commercially minded and proactive approach with the confidence to challenge and support decision making.
*Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.

Experience with Microsoft Dynamics Business Central and/or Power BI would be advantageous but is not essential.

What’s on Offer
*£45,000 - £55,000 depending on experience.
