Full job descriptionData Architect
We are seeking an experienced data modernisation architect to support Legacy Data Exit programme.
* Lead complex legacy data warehouse migration and decommissioning initiatives.
* Analyse legacy data usage, dependencies, and consumption patterns across business and technology functions.
* Define and execute migration strategies, including data validation, reconciliation, and cutover planning.
* Manage parallel runs, live proving, and production readiness activities to ensure a seamless transition.
* Collaborate with business, data, architecture, operations, and risk stakeholders to drive delivery outcomes.
* Provide strong client-facing leadership, communicating effectively with senior executives and programme sponsors.
* Facilitate decision-making across diverse stakeholder groups and manage competing priorities.
* Work closely with engineering teams to ensure robust migration execution and governance.
* Hands-on experience with modern data platforms is required; Databricks experience is highly desirable.
* Proven track record of delivering complex enterprise-scale data transformation programmes in regulated environments.
3 months initial duration (possible renewal to 6 months).
