Full job descriptionAn award-winning, top-tier law firm is seeking a Housing & Public Law Paralegal to join its London office. This is an excellent opportunity for a Housing & Public Law Paralegal to gain hands-on experience within a highly regarded team, working on complex and meaningful cases while developing a long-term legal career. The role offers Qualifying Work Experience (QWE) for candidates qualifying through the SQE route, with the potential to progress to a Training Contract.

The RoleAs the Housing & Public Law Paralegal you will support solicitors across a varied caseload of housing and public law matters.
The role will include:
* Assisting with case preparation and legal research
* Reviewing and managing case documentation and evidence
* Completing legal aid and funding applications
* Liaising with clients, witnesses and third parties
* Attending court hearings and conferences
* Supporting billing and financial administration
* Managing case files and ensuring deadlines are met
* Providing general legal and administrative support to the team
The Housing & Public Law Paralegal?You will be a motivated and organised individual with a genuine interest in Housing and Public Law.
The Housing & Public Law Paralegal must have:
* A Law degree or postgraduate legal qualification
* Previous legal experience is desirable, particularly within Housing or Public Law
* Strong legal research and document analysis skills
* Excellent communication and organisational skills
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Proactive approach with strong attention to detail
* Excellent client care and administrative skills
