The Role
Working closely with the Buying Team, you will play a key role in bringing products to market, supporting the full buying process from initial concept through to delivery into retail.
No two days are the same, and you will be involved in:
*Managing the product journey from concept through to delivery
*Building strong relationships with Far East suppliers
*Raising purchase orders and managing the critical path
*Reviewing product samples and coordinating testing and inspections
*Working closely with Sales, Design and Logistics teams
*Monitoring shipping schedules, sea freight and customs clearance
*Ensuring product information is accurate, compliant and retail-ready
*Keeping multiple projects on track while maintaining exceptional attention to detail


About You
You will already have experience within a buying environment and be looking for the next exciting step in your career.
Ideally you will have:
*At least 3 years’ experience within an Assistant Buyer or Junior Buyer position
*Experience working with Far East suppliers
*Knowledge of retail products and the buying process
*Experience of sea freight and international shipping
*Excellent organisation and attention to detail
*Strong communication skills and a proactive approach
*Good Excel and Microsoft Office skills
*A genuine passion for buying and product development
*A full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle (due to location)
