A larger-than-average primary school is seeking an enthusiastic class teacher to join its team for a two-day-a-week position, working Thursdays and Fridays within a mixed Year 3/4 class. This role is offered for the full academic year, with the potential to transition onto a school-based contract for the right candidate.
The school serves a vibrant community with average levels of SEND and EAL, and prides itself on delivering a broad, ambitious curriculum enriched by memorable learning experiences. It places a strong emphasis on developing avid readers with rich vocabulary, and ensures that pupil and staff wellbeing sits at the heart of every decision.
Teaching and learning are supported through high-quality schemes of work, including White Rose Maths and Grammasaurus, alongside a range of bespoke units designed to meet the needs of the school’s learners.
The successful candidate will:
*Deliver engaging, well-structured lessons across the mixed Y3/4 class
*Use established schemes of work and contribute to bespoke curriculum planning
*Foster a love of reading and vocabulary development
*Support pupils of all backgrounds to achieve their potential
*Uphold the school’s commitment to wellbeing, inclusion, and high-quality teaching
