Full job descriptionA fantastic opportunity has arisen for an experienced Pre-Litigation Claims Handler to join a growing defendant personal injury team based in Bradford city centre.
Working for a modern, commercially focused law firm, you’ll manage a caseload of Employer’s Liability and Public Liability claims from initial notification through to litigation, handling high-quality defendant work within a supportive and collaborative team.
The Role
Your responsibilities will include:
*Managing defendant EL/PL claims through the pre-litigation stage
*Using the MOJ EL/PL Portal to progress claims efficiently
*Investigating liability and negotiating settlements
*Liaising with clients, insurers, experts and third parties
*Maintaining accurate case records, reserves and compliance
*Delivering excellent client service throughout the claims process
AboutYou
You’ll ideally have:
*A minimum of 2 years’ experience handling defendant EL/PL claims at the pre-litigation stage
*Experience using the MOJ EL/PL Portal
*Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage a busy caseload
*Excellent communication and negotiation skills
