We’re recruiting on behalf of a successful and growing manufacturer in York. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Sales Office Manager to lead an internal sales team and play a key role in supporting business growth.
The RoleYou’ll manage the day-to-day sales office operation, ensuring excellent customer service, efficient processing of enquiries and orders, and strong collaboration across commercial and operational teams.
Key Responsibilities*Lead, coach and develop the internal sales team.
*Oversee customer enquiries, quotations and order processing.
*Build strong customer relationships and support key accounts.
*Monitor KPIs and report on sales performance.
*Maintain CRM and ERP systems, supporting ongoing process improvements.
*Work closely with production, purchasing and senior management.
*Attend occasional customer visits and UK trade shows.
About You*Previous experience managing an internal sales or customer service team.
*Strong B2B sales or account management background.
*Excellent leadership, communication and organisational skills.
*Experience using CRM/ERP systems and Microsoft Office.
*Manufacturing, engineering or electronics experience is desirable.
*Full UK driving licence.
*Able to work on-site in York.
