Full job descriptionHue Recruitment is delighted to be recruiting on behalf of a well-established business for a Key Accounts Administrator.
This is a fantastic opportunity to become part of a small, friendly and supportive team, where you’ll play a key role in managing customer accounts and ensuring exceptional service from order through to delivery.
The successful candidate will enjoy a varied role, working closely with customers, suppliers, transport providers and internal departments to ensure orders are processed accurately and delivered on time.
Key Responsibilities
*Process customer orders received via telephone, email and customer portals.
*Handle customer and supplier enquiries professionally and efficiently.
*Prepare sales, shipping and customs documentation.
*Maintain accurate customer records and account information.
*Liaise with the Sales, Warehouse, Logistics, Planning and Finance teams to ensure customer requirements are met.
*Arrange and monitor deliveries with transport providers and carriers.
*Create customs declarations using the Trader Support Service (TSS) portal.
*Resolve customer order, delivery and service queries.
*Provide post cover and general administrative support when required.
*Complete ad hoc administrative tasks as directed.
*Act as the site’s Fire Safety Head Marshal (full training provided).
Skills & Experience
We’re looking for someone who has:
*Excellent communication and customer service skills.
*Strong organisational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritise.
*Good attention to detail and accuracy.
*Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook.
*A proactive, positive and solutions-focused approach.
*The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
*A reliable, flexible and professional attitude.
Desirable Experience
*Previous experience in customer service, sales support, account administration or a similar office-based role.
*Experience using customer portals and order processing systems.
*Knowledge of customs or export documentation.
Salary & Benefits
*£27,000–£30,000 per annum, depending on experience.
*Permanent, full-time position.
*39.5 hours per week.
*Monday to Thursday: 8:30am – 5:00pm.
*Friday: 8:30am – 4:30pm.
*21 days’ annual leave plus bank holidays.
*Christmas shutdown.
