This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is currently an Assistant Accountant or an Accounts Assistant (who has experience in supporting with Management Accounts) and looking for a step up as a Management Accountant.

This is a permanent opprtunity in Ilkeston, paying up to £40,000.


Description
*Prepare and manage financial reports, budgets and forecasts.
*Analyse financial data to provide insights and recommendations.
*Monitor and control costs to ensure financial efficiency.
*Support the preparation of statutory accounts and compliance with regulations.
*Collaborate with other departments to ensure accurate financial planning.
*Maintain and improve financial systems and processes.
*Assist in month-end and year-end closing activities.
*Provide financial advice and support to management as needed.
Profile
A successful Management Accountant should have:
*A background in accounting or finance, with relevant qualifications.
*Experience in a similar role.
*Strong skills in financial systems and tools.
*The ability to work accurately and meet deadlines under pressure.
*Good communication skills to liaise with various stakeholders.
Job Offer
*Salary between £35,000 and £40,000, dependent on the level of experience.
*Permanent position in Ilkeston.
