Job Description:
Full job description We’re looking for a hands-on Craft Engineering Technician to join our Utilities Engineering team. This is a varied role supporting essential site services, where no two days are the same.
Whether your background is mechanical or electrical, we’ll provide the training and support to help you become a fully multi-skilled engineer.
Bridgwater | 4 on 4 off Days
What You’ll Be Doing
*Carrying out planned preventative maintenance and compliance-related inspections
*Responding to breakdowns and fault finding across utilities and site equipment
*Maintaining boilers, compressors, CHP systems, effluent treatment plants and refrigeration equipment
*Supporting facilities maintenance, including building repairs and general site upkeep
*Stripping, rebuilding and servicing mechanical and electrical components
*Assisting with small engineering improvement projects
What We’re Looking For
*NVQ Level 2 in Engineering (or equivalent experience)
*Mechanical or electrical maintenance experience
*Knowledge of utilities equipment such as boilers, compressors, refrigeration, CHP or effluent plants is advantageous
*A positive, can-do attitude and a willingness to learn
*Someone who takes ownership, enjoys solving problems and wants to develop their skills
