Full job description Principal C# / .NET Engineer - Development Lead

Initial 6 month contract
Start date - ASAP
London - Hybrid

What you’ll be doing:

*Leading solution design and hands-on development in C# / .NET
*Working across MongoDB, SQL Server, and enterprise messaging (Kafka / ActiveMQ)
*Supporting migration to OpenShift/Kubernetes-based container platforms
*Mentoring developers and setting engineering direction
*Applying modern engineering practices SOLID, microservices, contract-first API design
What we’re looking for:
*Expert C# / .NET, with strong .NET Core / modern .NET experience
*Proven track record as a senior developer, tech lead, or principal engineer
*Strong document database (MongoDB) and relational database/SQL skills
*Experience with container platforms (OpenShift/Kubernetes preferred)
*Comfortable operating in a regulated, delivery-focused environment
*Financial services background is essential
