This specialist SEN school for students aged 11-19 with Speech, Language and Communication Needs (SLCN) and Autistic Spectrum Disorder (ASD) is committed to preparing young people for life beyond education. The school provides a broad academic foundation enriched by tailored interventions, therapeutic support, and, for some, access to a residential "waking day" curriculum. Emotional well being is prioritised alongside learning, with a strong focus on enabling students to become confident, independent, and aspirational young adults. Close collaboration with families and a dedicated team of specialist staff underpin the school’s mission to support lifelong learning, community contribution, and personal growth.
The Role:
We are seeking a compassionate SEN Teaching Assistant to:
*Collaborate with teaching staff to deliver and adapt Individual Education Plans (IEPs).

*Prepare tailored resources and support communication and social skills development.
*Build meaningful relationships with students, staff, therapists, and families.
What You Bring:
*Experience working with young people in SEN settings-or a strong passion for special education.
*Patience, empathy, flexibility, and strong communication skills.
*A collaborative mindset and readiness to contribute to a supportive, inclusive team.
*Enhanced DBS clearance (or willingness to obtain one).
