We are seeking a passionate, resilient, and inspiring Registered Children’s Home Manager to lead a children’s residential home, providing exceptional care and support for young people with complex needs. This is an exciting opportunity to shape a positive, therapeutic environment where children can feel safe, valued, and empowered to achieve their full potential.
Key Responsibilities*Lead and manage the day-to-day operation of the children’s home.
*Ensure full compliance with Ofsted regulations and all relevant legislation.
*Inspire, develop, and support a high-performing care team.
*Promote a therapeutic, trauma-informed approach to care.
*Drive outstanding outcomes for children and young people.
*Prepare for and maintain high standards during Ofsted inspections.
*Foster a culture of safeguarding, continuous improvement, and excellence.
Essential Requirements Previous experience as a Registered Manager or Deputy Manager within a children’s residential setting.
Strong knowledge of:
*Children’s Homes Regulations
*Quality Standards
*Ofsted inspection framework
*Relevant safeguarding legislation
NVQ Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare (or willingness to complete).
