An established, family-owned business is looking for a Part Time Management Accountant to take ownership of financial control and reporting, with genuine scope to grow the role over time. This is a chance to join a stable and established finance team and become a key part of a business with a strong local reputation.
What you’ll be doing
*Taking full ownership of financial control and reporting, from bookkeeping through to management accounts
*Producing monthly management accounts with supporting analysis and trend reporting
*Managing high-volume daily transactions alongside occasional higher-value sales
*Building and maintaining cash flow forecasts
*Overseeing statutory and insurance reporting, VAT and digital tax compliance
*Leading year-end and audit processes
*Managing and developing a team of three accounts staff
What we’re looking for
*Solid experience in a management accounting role, ideally with previous line management experience
*ACCA/CIMA qualified, part-qualified, or qualified by experience — we’re open on qualification route
*Comfortable working across high transaction volumes and varied invoice values
*Retail, automotive or dealership background is a bonus but not essential
*A confident, adaptable people manager who brings good energy to an established team
