Job DescriptionAs a Nursery Nurse, you will play a key role in supporting children’s learning, development, and wellbeing within early years settings.
Key Responsibilities*Supporting children’s learning through play and structured activities
*Promoting children’s physical, emotional, and social development
*Maintaining a safe, stimulating, and inclusive environment
*Supporting the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework
*Building positive relationships with children, parents, and staff
*Observing, monitoring, and recording children’s progress
*Adhering to safeguarding, health and safety, and setting policies at all times
Person SpecificationEssential*Level 3 Qualification in Childcare or Early Years Education
*Valid Paediatric First Aid Certificate
*Good understanding of the EYFS framework
*Strong communication and interpersonal skills
*Commitment to safeguarding and promoting children’s welfare
*Ability to work effectively as part of a team
Desirable*Previous experience working within nurseries, schools, or children’s centres
*Experience supporting children from birth to five years
*Knowledge of safeguarding procedures and child development
*Flexibility and adaptability across different settings
