The RoleAs a Higher Level Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role across the school, supporting teaching and learning from EYFS through to Key Stage 2. This is a varied position that offers the opportunity to lead learning, support pupil progress, and work alongside an experienced and collaborative teaching team.
Your key responsibilities will include:*Delivering pre-planned lessons across EYFS, KS1 and KS2
*Providing high-quality PPA cover when required
*Leading small-group and one-to-one intervention programmes
*Supporting teachers with planning, preparation and assessment
*Adapting learning activities to meet individual pupil needs
*Supporting pupils with SEND and additional learning needs
*Promoting positive behaviour and engagement in learning
*Helping to create a safe, inclusive and stimulating classroom environment
*Building positive relationships with pupils, staff and parents

What We’re Looking ForTo be successful in this role, you will have:
*A recognised HLTA qualification or substantial equivalent experience
*Recent experience working within a UK primary school setting
*Confidence delivering lessons independently across primary year groups
*Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
*Experience supporting children with SEND
*Excellent communication and organisational skills
*A proactive, flexible and reliable approach
*A genuine passion for supporting children’s academic, social and emotional development
