The RoleAs the successful Year 5 Teacher, you will take full responsibility for a Year 5 class, delivering engaging and ambitious lessons that inspire pupils and maximise progress.
Key responsibilities include:
*Planning and delivering high-quality KS2 lessons in line with the National Curriculum
*Creating a positive, inclusive and stimulating learning environment
*Monitoring, assessing and tracking pupil progress effectively
*Using assessment data to inform teaching and accelerate achievement

The Ideal CandidateThe school is looking for a teacher who combines strong classroom practice with a genuine passion for helping children achieve their full potential.
To be successful, you will:
*Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
*Have experience teaching within Key Stage 2
*Ideally have previous experience teaching Year 5
*Demonstrate strong curriculum knowledge and effective assessment practices
*Have excellent classroom and behaviour management skills
*Be passionate about raising attainment and achieving positive pupil outcomes
*Be reliable, proactive and able to quickly become part of a successful team
