A well-established, CQC-rated Good Training GP Practice in Hyde is seeking an experienced Receptionist/Administrator to join their welcoming and supportive team.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with previous Primary Care experience who is looking for a stable, long-term position within a busy, patient-focused practice. As a Training Practice, the surgery is committed to supporting staff development while maintaining the highest standards of patient care.
The RoleAs the first point of contact for patients, you’ll play a vital role in ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of the practice. You’ll be responsible for providing a professional and friendly service while supporting the wider clinical and administrative teams.
Key Responsibilities
*Greeting patients and managing reception duties
*Booking and managing appointments
*Registering new patients and maintaining accurate patient records
*Clinical coding
*Processing correspondence using Docman
*Using EMIS Web to manage patient information
*Supporting clinicians with a range of administrative tasks
*Responding to patient enquiries both in person and over the telephone
About YouThe successful candidate will have:
*Previous experience working in a GP Practice or other Primary Care setting
*Strong working knowledge of EMIS Web and Docman
*Experience with clinical coding
*Excellent communication and organisational skills
*A professional, friendly and patient-focused approach
*The ability to work efficiently in a busy environment
What’s on Offer*£14.00 - £15.00 per hour, depending on experience
*Full-time, permanent position
*4 weeks annual leave plus bank holidays
