A leading manufacturing business in York is seeking a Multiskilled Maintenance Engineer to carry out planned and reactive maintenance, ensuring production equipment operates safely, efficiently, and reliably. The role requires strong electrical and mechanical fault-finding skills, manufacturing experience, and a proactive approach to continuous improvement and equipment performance.

Or client are an established manufacturing business based in York who are looking for a skilled and motivated Multiskilled Maintenance Engineer to join their successful engineering team.


Description


The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and improving a variety of production and site equipment to ensure maximum reliability, efficiency, and safety.
This role requires both electrical and mechanical maintenance experience within a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities:
*Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance activities.
*Diagnose and rectify electrical and mechanical faults.
*Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance equipment performance.
*Ensure all work is completed in line with health and safety standards.
*Maintain accurate maintenance records and documentation.


Profile


*The successful candidate will have;
*A recognised engineering qualification (Electrical, Mechanical, or Multi-Skilled discipline).
*Previous maintenance engineering experience within a manufacturing or production environment.
*Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills.
*The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
*A flexible approach to working hours and shift patterns.


Job Offer


Salary is ranging up to £55,000 per annum.
This is a day shift based role however, they are looking for someone who will be open to a mixture of day and night shifts.
