Recruitment ARM is recruiting for an experienced Site HSE Advisor to join a major energy infrastructure project supporting decommissioning and carbon capture activities.
This is an excellent opportunity to play a key role in ensuring the highest standards of health, safety and environmental performance throughout the engineering, procurement, installation and construction (EPIC) phases of a high-profile project.
Key Responsibilities*Promote a positive health, safety and environmental culture across the site through workforce engagement and training.
*Conduct regular HSE inspections, audits and site monitoring activities.
*Monitor subcontractor compliance with project HSE requirements.
*Ensure equipment and site activities comply with relevant legislation and project standards.
*Prepare, review and support risk assessments, Job Safety Analyses (JSAs) and safe systems of work.
*Oversee Permit to Work (PTW) processes and hazardous material controls.
*Monitor and report HSE performance, including KPIs and leading indicators.
*Support incident investigations, root cause analysis and implementation of corrective actions.
*Drive continuous improvement initiatives and promote environmental compliance throughout the project.
About YouYou will be an experienced HSE professional with a strong background in the Oil & Gas or major construction sector.
Essential requirements:
*NEBOSH Diploma or equivalent HSE qualification.
*Qualification in Health & Safety, Engineering or a related discipline.
*Several years’ experience within the Oil & Gas industry.
*Experience supporting onshore construction projects.
*Knowledge of Construction (Design and Management) Regulations (CDM).
*Experience with site surveys, investigations and construction safety management.
*Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
*Ability to work independently while supporting project teams to achieve high HSE standards.
