Job Title: External Sales Representative -Timber Products
Industry Sector: Timber, Timber Products, Softwoods, Sheet Material, Hardwoods, Joinery products, MDF, OSB, Panel Products, Cladding, Mouldings, Decorative Surfaces, Decking, Engineered Roof, Façade Systems, Site Hoardings, Main Contractors, Sub Contractors, D&B Contractors, National and Regional Housebuilders , Shop Fitters, Joinery Contractors, Builders and Kitchen Manufacturers, External Sales, Field Sales, Area Sales, Regional Sales, Business Development Manager
Area to be covered: South East
Remuneration: £50,000 - £60,000 + £10,000 bonus
Benefits: company car, healthcare, death in service and usual field sales benefits
The role of the External Sales Representative -Timber Products will involve:
*External field sales position selling a range of timber products and sheet materials
*All of your time will be spent selling to tier 1,2 & 3 contractors, sub-contractors, D&B contractors, joinery contractors, small to medium sized builders & shop fitters and merchants
*After year one want you to be turning over circa £2m
*Working out of a dedicated branch with great internal support
*Upselling and cross selling product range where possible
The ideal applicant will be a External Sales Representative -Timber Products with:
*Must have proven track record selling timber products
*Must have a contacts within the industry and have a pre-existing customer base
*Ability to build and maintain relationships
*Excellent communication skills with ability to convey technically information
*Computer literate
