An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Management Accountant to join a growing, business operating within a highly technical and service-focused environment.
Reporting to the Senior Management Accountant, you will play a key role in delivering accurate financial reporting, insightful analysis and commercial support to stakeholders across the business. This is an excellent opportunity for a part-qualified accountant looking to accelerate their career within a supportive and progressive finance function.
The Role
Key Responsibilities
*Prepare monthly and quarterly management accounts in line with reporting requirements.
*Deliver variance analysis against budget and forecast, providing meaningful commercial insights.
*Produce contract and profitability analysis to support operational and strategic decision-making.
*Support budgeting, forecasting and cashflow management activities.
*Prepare statutory accounts and support regulatory reporting requirements.
*Manage VAT returns and other compliance obligations.
*Develop reporting improvements and support finance process automation initiatives.
*Build relationships with internal stakeholders and external advisors, auditors and financial partners.
The Person
*Part-qualified ACCA, CIMA or equivalent.
*Strong management accounting, reporting and analytical skills.
*Effective communicator with the ability to partner with stakeholders across the business.
*Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.
*Proactive, inquisitive and driven to improve processes.
*Strong Excel skills, with experience of Power BI advantageous
