People Solutions are currently recruiting for a General Operative to join our well-established client based in Grimethorpe.
This is a full-time position offering ongoing work and the opportunity to become permanent for the right candidate.
Working within a busy production and warehouse environment, you will be responsible for supporting daily operations while maintaining high standards of quality and efficiency.
This role would suit candidates with experience as a Warehouse Operative, Production Operative or Packing Operative.
Rates of Pay:
*£12.71 per hour
Shift Pattern:
As a General Operative, you will work:
*Monday to Friday
*08:00 to 16:00

Day-to-Day Duties:
Your duties as a General Operative are:
*Packing foam kits
*Lifting and handling foam products
*Quality checking finished products
*Working on a gluing line
*Completing general warehouse duties
*Training on a variety of machines and equipment
Essential Skills:
To be successful as a General Operative, you will need:
*Previous experience in a distribution or warehouse environment
*Excellent timekeeping and attendance
*The ability to work to targets
*A full valid driving licence
*A positive and reliable attitude
*The ability to work effectively as part of a team
Desirable Experience:
To be successful as a General Operative, it would be beneficial if you have:
*Previous warehouse experience
*Previous general operative experience
*Experience working within a production environment
Training:
As a General Operative, you will receive:
*Full training before commencing work
*Ongoing support throughout your assignment
*Training on various machines and equipment
