Location: Chipping, Preston Salary: Up to £63,000 per year
Hours: Monday–Friday, 9am–5pm, plus scheduled on-call duties
An established children’s residential care provider is seeking an experienced Registered Manager to lead a therapeutic EBD home. This is a chance to shape a stable environment, build a strong team, and make a genuine difference in young people’s lives.

*Ofsted bonus: Up to £3,000 per year
*Sign-on bonus: Up to £3,000 within the first 6 months
*First-year earnings potential: Up to £66,000
*Annual earning potential thereafter: Up to £63,000

Key Responsibilities*Lead the day-to-day running of the home
*Create a safe, structured, nurturing environment
*Lead, motivate, and develop the residential care team
*Ensure compliance with Ofsted regulations and safeguarding standards
*Oversee care quality, staff performance, and service development
*Build positive relationships with children, families, social workers, and professionals
*Drive the home towards strong inspection outcomes and continuous improvement
RequirementsEssential:
*Minimum 3 years in a senior role within children’s EBD care
*Previous leadership/management experience in a children’s home
*Strong safeguarding & Ofsted regulation knowledge
*Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare (or equivalent)
*Willingness to complete/hold Level 5 Leadership & Management
*Full UK driving licence
Desirable:
*5+ years’ experience in EBD settings
*Experience supporting children with emotional & behavioural needs
*Track record of achieving/maintaining Good or Outstanding outcomes
