Full job descriptionWe are recruiting on behalf of our client, a reputable dealership in Canterbury, for the position of Vehicle Technician. This is an excellent opportunity for experienced automotive professionals seeking to enhance their career within a supportive and well-established environment. The Vehicle Technician role offers the chance to work with a dedicated team committed to delivering high standards of customer service and technical excellence.

Benefits:
*Competitive basic salary up to £40,000 for Master Technician and up to £35,000 for Service Technician
*OTE of £50,000 to £55,000
*23 days holiday plus bank holidays
*Paid holiday entitlement increases with service length
*Monday to Friday working week with Saturdays on a rota
*Use of in-house built toolboxes within a modern workshop

Duties of a Vehicle Technician:
*Diagnose and repair a wide range of vehicle issues to manufacturer standards
*Perform routine servicing and maintenance work
*Use diagnostic equipment to identify faults accurately
*Ensure all work maintains quality standards
*Keep precise work records and communicate findings clearly
*Uphold dealership professionalism and maintain high customer satisfaction
*Work efficiently both independently and as part of a team
Requirements of a Vehicle Technician:
*Proven experience as a Vehicle Technician within a professional workshop environment
*Level 2 qualifications; Level 3 qualification is advantageous
*Excellent diagnostic skills and technical knowledge
*Apprentice-trained individuals considered if they possess relevant experience
*Ability to work independently and collaboratively
*Reliable, disciplined, and focused on delivering quality service
*Enthusiastic about developing skills and career progression within the automotive industry
