Full job descriptionWe have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Recruitment Consultant to join our expanding team based in Swindon.
As a Recruiter within our Financial Advice Recruitment Team, you will work closely with adviser firms across The Openwork Partnership network, supporting the recruitment of both employed and self-employed Financial Advisers and Mortgage & Protection Advisers. You’ll play a key role in helping firms achieve their growth ambitions while contributing to the long-term success of the Partnership.
Working as part of a wider recruitment function, you’ll deliver an outstanding end-to-end recruitment service, partnering with firms across the UK to understand hiring needs, identify high-quality talent and manage the full recruitment lifecycle.
This is a highly proactive recruitment role requiring expertise in candidate attraction, relationship management, business development within an established network and talent pipelining.
This is a hybrid opportunity, with regular attendance at our Swindon Head Office.

What You’ll Be DoingAs a Recruitment Consultant, you will:
*Partner with adviser firms across The Openwork Partnership to understand and support their growth and recruitment objectives.
*Manage the end-to-end recruitment process for Financial Advisers and Mortgage & Protection Advisers across both employed and self-employed models.
*Take detailed vacancy briefs and provide expert recruitment guidance to hiring firms.
*Proactively source, headhunt and engage high-calibre candidates using LinkedIn Recruiter, job boards, networking, referrals and market mapping techniques.
*Build and maintain strong talent pipelines of Financial Advisers and Mortgage & Protection Advisers across the UK.
*Develop trusted relationships with firm principals, hiring managers and key stakeholders to identify current and future hiring needs.
*Identify and drive new recruitment opportunities across the Partnership network.
*Manage multiple vacancies simultaneously while delivering an exceptional candidate and client experience.
*Coordinate interviews, manage offer negotiations and support candidates through onboarding and joining processes.
*Provide market intelligence, recruitment insights and salary benchmarking information to firms.
*Advise firms on attraction, assessment and selection strategies to improve hiring outcomes.
*Collaborate with internal teams and stakeholders to ensure recruitment supports wider business objectives.
*Work towards agreed recruitment targets, KPIs and service standards.

What We’re Looking ForTo succeed in this role, you’ll have:
*Proven experience within a recruitment consultancy or in-house recruitment environment.
*Previous experience recruiting Financial Advisers, Wealth Managers, Mortgage & Protection Advisers, or other adviser-facing financial services professionals (highly desirable).
*A strong understanding of employed and self-employed adviser recruitment models.
*Experience of proactive candidate sourcing, headhunting and talent pooling.
*Excellent stakeholder management and relationship-building skills.
*A commercial mindset with the ability to identify opportunities and influence hiring decisions.
*The ability to effectively manage multiple priorities within a fast-paced, target-driven environment.
*Outstanding communication, organisation and negotiation skills.
*Knowledge of FCA-regulated environments (beneficial).
*A passion for delivering exceptional service and building long-term relationships.
*An understanding of adviser charging models, adviser business structures and recruitment-related regulatory requirements.
*The ability to identify potential compliance considerations and ensure candidates meet appropriate qualification and regulatory standards.
*Experience building talent pipelines through networking, referrals, market mapping and proactive engagement.
*A track record of working towards recruitment KPIs, placement targets and service level agreements.
*Experience using LinkedIn Recruiter, CRM systems and sourcing tools to identify and engage passive talent.
