Duties of the Senior Vehicle Technician:
*Complete servicing, maintenance, and complex repairs adhering to manufacturer standards
*Conduct diagnostic assessments and repair vehicle faults using advanced diagnostic tools
*Execute mechanical and electrical fault finding with precision
*Support and mentor junior technicians to enhance team knowledge
*Perform pre-delivery inspections and vehicle handovers
*Ensure work is completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality
*Maintain accurate records and complete relevant paperwork
*Liaise effectively with customers and service advisors regarding repair work
*Work independently while contributing to the workshop team’s success
Requirements of the Senior Vehicle Technician:
*Level 3 NVQ (or equivalent) in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair
*Proven experience as a Vehicle Technician within a dealership or professional workshop
*Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills
*Excellent mechanical and electrical knowledge
*Full UK Driving Licence
*Proactive, dependable, and professional approach with attention to detail
