Description
The Legal Counsel Banking will be:


*Advising on bridge lending, banking and secured finance transactions.
*Drafting, reviewing and negotiating facility agreements, security documents, guarantees, intercreditor agreements and ancillary finance documentation.
*Working on transactions from instruction through to completion, including funding and drawdown arrangements.
*Advising on transaction structuring and legal risk allocation.
*Providing commercially focused legal advice to business stakeholders across Lending, Credit and Investment teams.
*Identifying and managing legal and regulatory risks associated with lending transactions.
*Developing and maintaining lending documentation, legal precedents and internal processes.
*Building strong working relationships with colleagues, clients and external advisers.
*Managing multiple complex matters while maintaining exceptional standards of accuracy and service delivery.
Profile
The Legal Counsel Banking should be:


*A solicitor with at least 4 years PQE in banking and finance or secured lending.
*Experienced in advising on banking, specialist lending or other finance transactions.
*Skilled in drafting and negotiating finance documentation including facility agreements and security documents.
*Experienced in managing transactions from instruction through to completion.
*Commercially minded with excellent drafting, negotiation and legal analysis skills.
*Able to balance legal, regulatory and commercial considerations effectively.
*Confident managing relationships with clients and senior business stakeholders.
*Organised, proactive and capable of managing competing priorities within a fast paced environment.


Job Offer
*Salary between £80,000 and £85,000
