Location: Kilburn
Rate: £13.50-£14.50 per hour (DOE)
Contract: Temporary, with the strong likelihood of becoming permanent
A well-established GP practice in central London is seeking a GP Receptionist to join a busy front-of-house team. This role starts on a temporary basis, with strong potential to become permanent for the right candidate.
You will be the first point of contact for patients, managing appointment bookings, handling queries in person and by phone, and providing efficient, professional front-of-house support. Experience using EMIS is essential, and you will work closely with the wider practice team to ensure a smooth, welcoming service for all patients and visitors.
Requirements:
*Experience using EMIS is essential
*Previous experience in a GP practice or medical reception setting preferred
*Strong communication and organisational skills
*Comfortable working in a fast-paced, patient-facing environment
This post is subject to the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1975 and as such it will be necessary for a submission for Disclosure to be made to the Disclosure and Barring Service (formerly known as CRB) to check for any previous criminal convictions.
