Job Description:
Full job descriptionI’m supporting a new MGA looking to appoint a Head of Distribution to join their leadership team. In this role, you will own strategy, build broker relationships, influence product development, and play a key role in bringing the MGA’s bespoke products to market.
The role is considerably broader than a traditional BDM role.
Key Responsibilities
*Build distribution strategy
*Develop strategic broker partnerships
*Grow profitable GWP
*Identify new market opportunities
*Improve broker trading experience
*Work with underwriting to refine products
*Help determine future product launches
*Develop scalable distribution channels
*Support future hiring and growth of the distribution team
Experience required
*Previous experience in a BDM or Development Underwriter role
*Experience within Non-Standard Commercial & Residential Property
*Commercially minded, entrepreneurial, with the ability to thrive in a start-up environment
*Established broker relationships across the UK would be highly advantageous
