The Role
As an HGV Class 2 Driver, you’ll be responsible for delivering fresh bakery products to stores across the South East.
Your duties will include:
*Driving HGV Class 2 (Category C) vehicles
*Multi-drop deliveries to supermarkets, convenience stores and third-party customer sites
*Ensuring deliveries are completed safely, efficiently and on time
*Completing daily vehicle checks and delivery paperwork
*Assisting with loading and unloading when required
*Providing excellent customer service at delivery locations
*Complying with driver hours, tachograph and road transport regulations
*Early morning start times between 00:00 and 02:10
*Fixed shifts with 12 hours’ guaranteed pay
Weekend availability is essential.
Pay Rates PAYE (Holiday Pay Included)
*Weekdays – £19.95 per hour
*Saturday – £22.53 per hour
*Sunday – £23.81 per hour
*Bank Holidays – £28.95 per hour
PAYE (Holiday Pay Accrued)
*Weekdays – £17.81 per hour
*Saturday – £20.11 per hour
*Sunday – £21.25 per hour
*Bank Holidays – £25.84 per hour
What We’re Looking For
*Valid UK HGV Class 2 (Category C) Licence
*Valid Driver CPC
*Valid Digital Tachograph Card
*Full UK Driving Licence
*Physically fit and willing to assist with loading and unloading when required
*Previous HGV Class 2 experience is preferred, but newly qualified drivers with commercial driving or multi-drop delivery experience are encouraged to apply
