Full job descriptionA respected and UK leading law firm based in East Sussex is looking for an enthusiastic and hard working Paralegal to support their busy Real Estate team.
You will be assisting a solicitor in the running of live files, in addition to supporting them in all aspects of conveyancing transactions, from instructions through to post completion.
Duties Included:
*File opening/AML compliance
*Administrative support on exchange formalities completion and post completion tasks
*Preparing reports on title, mortgages and searches (with supervision)
*Raising and reviewing enquiries on title and contract packs, searches and surveys (with supervision)
*Liaising with clients, agents, lenders and other solicitors to progress transactions.
*Drafting financial statements and invoices
*General administration tasks and the updating of internal and external system


Requirements:
*Previous Conveyancing support experience in a legal environment is essential for this role.
*Relevant legal qualifications
*Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
*Confident and sufficiently competent to work to timescales, able to use your initiative and be commercially aware
*Well-organised, with a keen eye for detail
This is a full-time role with hybrid working considered after passed probation
