The Teach Team is currently working with a welcoming and well-resourced secondary school in Birmingham to recruit an enthusiastic Food Technology Teacher, five days per week.
This is an excellent opportunity to join a supportive department where you can inspire students to develop practical cooking skills, nutritional knowledge, and a passion for food preparation and healthy living.
The Role*Deliver engaging Food Technology lessons to students across Key Stages 3 and 4.
*Plan, prepare, and assess high-quality lessons in line with the national curriculum.
*Create a positive and inclusive learning environment.
*Monitor student progress and provide constructive feedback.
*Maintain high standards of classroom and kitchen safety.
The Ideal Candidate*Experience teaching Food Technology in a secondary school setting or vocational subjects.
* Classroom management skills.
*Excellent communication and organisational abilities.
*A current enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one.
