People Solutions are currently recruiting for a Van Driver to join our well-established client based in Edinburgh.
This is a fantastic opportunity for reliable and customer-focused drivers to join a busy catering distribution business.
You’ll be responsible for completing multi-drop deliveries to commercial customers across Edinburgh and the surrounding areas, ensuring orders are delivered safely, accurately and on time.
This role would be suitable for applicants with experience as a Multi-Drop Driver, Delivery Driver or 3.5 Tonne Driver.
Rates of Pay:
*£13.00 per hour
Shift Pattern:
*Monday to Friday
*07:00 - 15:00

Day-to-Day Duties:
Your duties as a Van Driver are:
*Completing multi-drop deliveries to catering and hospitality customers
*Loading and unloading your vehicle safely
*Checking orders before delivery to ensure accuracy
*Providing excellent customer service at each delivery point
*Completing delivery paperwork and using handheld devices where required
*Carrying out daily vehicle checks
*Adhering to all road traffic laws and company procedures
Essential Skills:
To be successful as a Van Driver, you will need:
*A full UK Category B driving licence
*Previous multi-drop driving experience
*Good geographical knowledge of Edinburgh and the surrounding areas
*Excellent customer service and communication skills
*Good time management and organisational skills
*Reliable, punctual and able to work independently
*Physically fit, with the ability to load and unload deliveries
Training:
*Full training and ongoing support will be provided
