About the RoleWe are working with a leading global loss adjusting and claims management organisation who are looking to appoint an experienced Motor Injury Claims Handler to join their TPA team.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced claims professional who has a strong background handling third-party motor injury claims and is looking to develop their career within a global business.
The successful candidate will manage a portfolio of motor claims from first notification through to settlement, working closely with insurers, brokers, customers and third parties to deliver a high-quality claims service.
Key Responsibilities*Manage a caseload of third-party motor injury claims from inception through to conclusion.
*Handle claims involving personal injury, including liability assessment, investigation and settlement negotiations.
*Review and validate claims in line with client requirements and delegated authority agreements.
*Make decisions on liability, quantum and appropriate claims strategy.
*Manage claims through the Official Injury Claim (OIC) portal.
*Liaise with solicitors, claimant representatives, insurers and other stakeholders.
*Ensure claims are handled efficiently while maintaining excellent customer service standards.
*Maintain accurate records and provide regular updates on claim progression.
Requirements*Previous experience handling motor injury claims within a claims environment.
*Strong understanding and practical experience of the Official Injury Claim (OIC) portal.
*Experience handling third-party motor claims, ideally from a TPA / outsourced claims management background.
*Confident managing a claims caseload independently.
*Strong knowledge of liability, indemnity and claims investigation.
*Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
*Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced claims environment.
Desirable Experience*Experience working within a TPA environment for insurer clients.
*Exposure to delegated authority claims handling.
*Experience handling a mix of low-value injury, MOJ and OIC claims.
*Previous experience working within a global claims organisation.
