Full job descriptionA fantastic opportunity has arisen to join a well-established and growing bookkeeping business in Woodbridge. Working as part of a friendly and supportive team, you’ll be responsible for managing a portfolio of local clients, delivering a high-quality bookkeeping and accounting service.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Bookkeeper who enjoys variety, client interaction, and working within a collaborative and welcoming environment.
Key Responsibilities
*Maintaining accurate bookkeeping records for a portfolio of clients
*Preparing monthly and quarterly management accounts
*Processing payroll for multiple clients
*Bank reconciliations and balance sheet reconciliations
*Producing reports and analysis using Advanced Excel
*Managing VAT returns and ensuring compliance with deadlines
*Working extensively with Xero and supporting clients with system queries
*Liaising directly with business owners and clients to provide financial information and support
*Assisting with ad hoc finance and accounting tasks as required
About You
*Previous bookkeeping experience, ideally within a bookkeeping practice or accountancy environment
*Strong management accounts experience
*Payroll processing experience
*Excellent working knowledge of Xero
*Advanced Excel skills including formulas, lookups and reporting
*Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
*Ability to manage multiple client deadlines effectively
*Professional and confident communication skills
