*Rotating Weekly Shifts
*Monday to Thursday
*6am to 4pm | 4pm to 2am
Salary:
*Early Shift : £13 per hour
*Late Shift: Premium of 24% = £16.13 per hour
*Weekly Production Bonuses if targets achieved
Job Duties:
*Operating production machinery and manufacturing equipment
*Operating overhead cranes and material handling equipment
*Operating mobile plant machinery
*Carrying out general labouring and housekeeping duties
*Maintaining work areas to a high standard of cleanliness and organisation
*Ensuring compliance with all company policies, including Health & Safety procedures
*Following safe working practices and operational procedures within a heavy manufacturing environment
*Assisting with production activities to meet quality and output targets
*Undertaking any other reasonable duties as requested by management
Essential Criteria:
*Previous experience within a heavy manufacturing, industrial or production environment
*Experience operating counterbalance forklifts, overhead cranes or similar material handling equipment
*First Aid Certificate
*A strong team player with the ability to work on their own initiative
*Hard-working, reliable and conscientious
*Ability to work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced production environment
*Excellent communication and organisational skills
*Good time management skills
*Experience working to production targets and quality standards
*Flexible approach to working hours
